Who we are

We are a small, but growing, evangelical Anglican church seeking to love and serve Jesus and make him known here in Bamber Bridge by sharing the good news about him and his kingdom.

We focus a lot of our energy on being a family where we love and care for one another, grow together in our faith and walk beside one another through the good and bad.

We love to spend time opening up God’s word together, seeking to understand it and applying it to our daily lives.

We are also a part of the North West Gospel Partnership which is a group of like-minded churches supporting our ministry together.

Meet the Team

  • Matt Cook

I’m Matt & I’m married to Emma, and together we have three children -Isobel, Nathan and Jake.  I have been in church based ministry for over 20 years my great passion is to help people see how relevant Jesus is to them and to help people walk with Jesus by teaching the Bible, which is God’s living word to us.

  • Shelley Logan

Hi, I’m Shelley and I’m the Community and Family Worker at St Saviour’s.  I arrived in Bamber Bridge with my husband, Paul, at the end of 2022, so I still feel pretty new to the area.  We have two grown-up children- one in Leeds and one in Nottingham- and three grandchildren.  Originally we’re from Yorkshire but left there in 2010.  I’ve worked in various churches for over 35 years, and I love nothing more than teaching people of all ages about Jesus.
